Best known for his session styling in London at fashion shows and photography studios, Luke Reynolds has returned to Gloucestershire to launch his own hair salon in the heart of Cheltenham.
From an early age Luke had one ambition - To be the best hair stylist he could be. The ambition to succeed in this highly competitive field has enabled many diverse opportunities, each of which Luke has embraced with passion and focus.
With formal qualifications NVQ2 and NVQ3, Luke gained his first real life experience in London at the Vidal Sassoon Academy. This provided a dream platform to learn and understand the many looks that remain the classics and more importantly, are the foundations of the advanced techniques and styles seen today.
After successful graduation from Vidal Sassoon, Luke approached the Toni&Guy flagship academy in London where he enjoyed an intensive course becoming versed in their catalogue of fourteen core techniques. Luke went on to work for one of their London salons as a stylist and it was during this time that Luke’s dream of opening his own salon became clear, a place where he would apply everything he had learned along with some of his own styles.
To complete his apprenticeship, Luke advanced his technique training under www.umbertogiannini.co.uk
and working on photo / editorial shoots.
By experiencing the high adrenaline environment of London Fashion Week and assisting established session stylists, photographers and designers, Luke’s strong visual portfolio clearly demonstrates that he is a stylist to be reckoned with. The tenacity, passion, flare and knowledge established in salons, studios and events throughout the UK has now culminated in Luke Reynolds launching his flagship salon in fashionable Cheltenham.
Luke has worked as editorial stylist on magazines such as:
